Would you like to meet friendly people and discuss important issues? Bible Café is for you.
Our Bible study groups are a great way for us to study the Bible together and to get to know others in the church at a more personal level. We offer a wide range of Bible study groups that meet at different times, in different places, and on different days of the week. Our current
Bible study groups include:
Bible Café typically meets every Friday night during the school terms. Our meeting kicks off around 7pm, with a meal provided by the church so that you don’t need to worry about making dinner! Then we spend some time as a larger group dealing with our issue of the day, before breaking up into smaller groups to talk about it and see what the Bible has to say about it.
So who comes to Bible Café? We cater for a few different types of people.
High school students. Our youth group meets as part of the Bible Café. They meet fortnightly instead of weekly, and also have some social events and an annual camp.
University students and young adults. A large group of people aged 18-30ish meet to discuss the topic and enjoy each others’ company.
Adults. You are welcome whoever you are! A significant number of adults come along to enjoy friendship and contribute to the discussion.
Do I need to be a Christian?
No, you don’t. You are welcome to find out what Christians believe and give your own opinion too. We aim to be welcoming to anyone.
Midweek Bible Studies (North and South Group)
All Nations is a city church, and many travel significant distances to get to our Sunday service. However, we have two groups that meet on weeknights in different locations. Our North Group Bible Study typically meets fortnightly on Wednesday nights at a home in the northern suburbs. Meanwhile, our South Group Bible Study currently meets weekly on Tuesday nights at a home in the southern suburbs. Both groups provide a great opportunity to look in depth at the Bible, ask questions, pray, and to meet new friends. Many find smaller groups a wonderful opportunity to grow in their faith. For the most up-to-date information on the locations and times of our North and South Bible Studies, please contact the church
We also run a women’s group that meets every second Friday morning from 10-12 at someone’s house. This group helps build friendships and encouragement among women in the church, including those with small children (and we usually have quite a number!), and it gives an opportunity to study the Bible and pray while the babies and toddlers play. You do not have to be a mother to come along; women of all ages are most welcome to join! For more information about this group, please contact the church office.
Saturday Afternoon Bible Study
We have been blessed with many young children at All Nations. This means that we have many families with babies or toddlers. Having small children makes it difficult to attend groups that meet at night-time, so in the past either one parent attended a group or both parents missed out. The Saturday afternoon Bible Study Group meets every second Saturday afternoon, from 3.15pm at the church building. There is a children’s ministry run at the same time to enable parents to take part together. But you don’t need to be married or have kids to come along! All are welcome. Please contact the church for more information.
Saturday Easy English Bible Study
Every Saturday morning we have a Bible study in Easy English Class from 10 to 12, finishing with lunch. This is aimed at those who are new in their faith or who are investigating Christianity. The level of the English is simple and everything is explained clearly. And you can ask whatever questions you want to! All are welcome.
Young Adults Group
Our Young Adults Group meets fortnightly on Sundays at the church building during the university terms. Our meeting kicks off at 12:30 with lunch and fellowship. After lunch, we have a Bible study together. The Young Adults also frequently have social events at the church building. Everyone between the ages of 18 and 25 is most welcome to join us. You do not have to be a Christian to come along!
