LORD’S SUPPER THIS MORNING
We will be celebrating Jesus’ death for us in the Lord’s Supper today. If you are visiting with us, and have personal faith in Jesus, then you are most welcome to join with us.
NEW SERMON SERIES STARTS TODAY
In July and August we will be looking at some topical issues relevant to our Christians lives – evangelism and prayer. These are both vital issues for us personally as well as when we meet as church. Along with the sermon series we will be starting some new prayer and evangelistic strategies, and looking at related topics in the home fellowship groups.
STAMPS FOR LEPROSY MISSION
What do you do with the envelopes you receive in the mail when they are empty? Throw them away? Put them to better use – donate the used stamps to the leprosy mission! You can place old envelopes with stamps on them into the marked box near the windows at the back of the church hall. If you do tear off the stamps, remember there needs to be a border of 1 centimeter all around the stamp. For more information, please speak to Jan or Heather.

Do you want to be able to share your faith better? Do you struggle to explain the gospel clearly to others? Does the whole idea of talking to others about Jesus scare you? Then you could benefit from attending the upcoming XEE clinic at Bullcreek WPC in July. The clinic will be the whole day on Saturday 12 July and then evenings from Monday 14th to Friday 18th of July. The total cost is $185 including meals and all materials. Please pick up a form from the table near the door for more information.
PERTH WOMEN’S CONVENTION
The Perth Women’s Convention is a one day conference for women of all ages aimed at encouraging and building up women through the faithful teaching of God’s Word. This year’s conference is entitled ‘Snapshots from the Kingdom’ and will include 3 Bible talks by Maxine Cook on Matthew’s gospel. There are registration forms available on the table near the door.
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE WEEK
- Monday – families with small children, for wisdom.
- Tuesday – the elders and deacons meet tonight to look at evangelistic strategies.
- Wednesday – pray for the home groups, for encouragement and application.
- Thursday – pray for the single people in our church, for godliness.
- Friday – pray for the elderly among us, for health and for their example to others.
