CONGREGATIONAL MEETING NEXT WEEK
We will have a congregational meeting after the service next Sunday, November 23.  Please plan to come along to hear what is happening at All Nations and to pray and plan together for the coming year.  This is an important time in the life of our church.  There are a series of documents to collect at the table near the door – please read them before the meeting so the meeting can run smoothly.

This meeting is an opportunity for you to contribute as well, so think and pray about the items on the agenda so we can be as constructive as possible.  There is a white paper on the issue of adult baptism and membership put forward by the Session, and we ask that you read it and come prepared with any feedback.

If you are a member and cannot make it to the meeting, please inform one of the elders.  Members are expected to attend, and adherents are most welcome to contribute as well.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS NIGHT - 14 DECEMBER (SUNDAY at 5.30PM, ANPC)
Please note this date in your diary and plan to attend with your families and friends.  A 1-hour Christmas program will commence around 5.30PM followed by a light meal.  The early start will allow families with young children to attend the celebration.  It would be appreciated if you could bring a plate of food to share; hot and cold drinks will be provided.  If you have any questions, please see Bing Rivera after the service.”

CAMP PROGRAMME
Cecelia has the planned programme for the family camp in December.  Please speak to her to find out the times of sessions and meals, particularly if you intend to come for only part of the camp.

ALL NATIONS NEEDS A TREASURER!
As most of you know, Saileng Lee has been acting as our treasurer for two years now.  The church would like to find someone else who can volunteer to help the church in this important role in order to relieve Saileng.  You do not need to be an accountant, and the role is not as scary as it sounds.  Maureen pays all the bills and writes all the cheques that are required, and even updates the accounting software we use.  The church just needs someone to oversee this and help us prepare budgets and reports for the congregation.  Please consider this seriously and pray about it, and talk to Saileng or to one of the elders if you are interested in serving in this way.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECKS
There is government legislation that requires all people who work with children, either on an employed or voluntary basis, to hold a current working with children (WWC) check.  All of our current Sunday School teachers either have or are applying for a WWC check.  But this is also required for everyone on the crèche roster.  If you help out in crèche and you do not have a WWC check, please see Simon.  The church can provide the forms and reimburse you for the cost ($10).  This is not just an important government regulation, it is important that we do all we can to ensure the safety of our children.

UPDATE ON SUDAN WORK MOVED TO THE 30th
Samuel Riek whom we have previously supported in his work rebuilding Southern Sudan is going to come to show us some of the work that has been completed recently.  This has been postponed to the service on November 30.  Please plan to stay (it will not be a long presentation) and talk to Samuel.

LEPROSY MISSION STAMPS
There is a box on the back table at church in which you can put your used postage stamps.  These raise valuable money for the Leprosy Mission – over $3000 Australia wide last year.  In recent times there have been less stamps than before, so please don’t forget to bring those used envelopes to church!  Why not put them to a good cause rather than just in the recycling bin?  Please see Jan if you want to know more information about the Leprosy Mission.
