ACCOUNTABILITY

After the service this morning we will have a brief discussion about accountability and prayer partnerships.  This is a new initiative All Nations is promoting in order to help all of us in our Christian lives.  You will have the chance to hear what is proposed, ask questions, and show your interest.

ORDINATION NEXT WEEK

Kelly Tan will be ordained during the morning service of next Sunday, May 16.

ARE YOU HERE ON TIME TODAY?

Being on time to church is a great habit to get into. It shows others you place a high priority on worshipping together with other Christians. It shows visitors that you take this seriously. And it allows you be calm and ready for worship when you arrive.  If you know of others who have fallen into the bad habit of getting here late, maybe you need to remind them gently.

CONTACT DETAILS REMINDER

Email addresses and other contact details for some people have changed.  Please ensure that you use the current information listed in the 2010 church directory.

ALL NATIONS BLOG

A new blog has been set up as part of the All Nations website (www.allnations.org.au).  Summaries from recent sermons and Friday Night teaching will be uploaded here a few days after it is first delivered.  The aim of this blog is to help us to think through what we have learnt during the week.  There is a function to subscribe to the blog, which will lead to an email being sent to you each time it is updated.

MISSIONS GIVING

As approved in the last budget, 10% of all our general offerings now go to a range of local and overseas missions.  This means our budget is 10% higher than last year. So if you can, please remember to give enough to cover the needs of our church and the wider Christian family too.

A WARNING ABOUT NUTS

If you are on morning tea duty, the whole church is very grateful for your service.  But there is one thing we need to be aware of – please do not bring nuts or food with nuts in it for morning tea.  We have some people in our congregation who are very allergic to nuts and could suffer serious medical conditions if they eat any.  Please consider this when you are thinking of what to bring next time you are on morning tea.
